(2) the left lobe of my brain controls all my logic, reasoning, investigative, and deductive functions, and controls the right side of the brain : the left lobe of the brain is primarily known for language processing, analytical thinking, logic, and reasoning ... it is also involved in tasks related to reading, writing, math, and scientific skills ... the left lobe controls the movement and sensation of the right side of the body ... additionally, the left lobe is also responsible for controlling emotions, but it mainly processes positive emotions such as happiness and joy ... the left lobe is often referred to as the "logical brain" or the "dominant hemisphere," as it governs higher-order cognitive functions that are essential for problem-solving and decision-making.
Just how exactly does the left lobe/left side of the brain controls the right side of the brain?
The left lobe of the brain is responsible for controlling the right side of the body, and this is due to the way that the brain is wired. The brain is divided into two HEMISPHERES, separated by a bundle of nerve fibers called the CORPUS CALLOSUM. The left hemisphere controls the right side of the body, while the right hemisphere controls the left side of the body.
The signals from the left hemisphere / lobe travel through the corpus callosum to the right hemisphere / lobe, which then sends signals to the muscles on the left side of the body. This arrangement is called CONTRALATERAL CONTROL, where one side of the brain controls the OPPOSITE SIDE of the body.
